The three screw pelletizer is made up of several parts, such as transmission device, feeding device, material barrel and screw rod. The function of each component is similar to that of single screw granulator. The difference between the three screw pelletizer and the single screw pelletizer is that two parallel screws are placed in the same cartridge.

The three screw pelletizer has many different forms. The main difference is that the screw structure is different. The screw structure of the three screw granulator is much more messy than the single screw extruder. This is because the screw of the three screw granulator, such as the direction of rotation, the degree of meshing, and so on.

The three screw granulator, commonly used for extrusion of PVC profiles, is usually a tightly meshed and revolving screw. A small amount of screw extruder is extruded with the same rotating twin screw, but it usually operates at a low speed and is within the range of 10r/min. And the high-speed rodent contract to rotary three screw granulator is used for mixing, granulation, or as a continuous chemical reactor. The maximum screw speed range of this type of extruder is from 300 to 600r/min. The transport mechanism of the non meshing extruder and the meshing extruder is different, and the comparison is close to the transport mechanism of the single screw granulator. The two are essentially different.
