Honey refining and dispersing function of three screw extruder

People's idea of three screw extruders has been at least a few decades ago, until the first inverted plastic three screw extruder in August 2005 broke through technical barriers in Beijing Zhongxing new plastic machinery manufacturing Co., Ltd. Over the past two years, it has been examined under various conditions, proving that it has very unique plasticizing and dispersing functions. Such a three screw extruder is stronger than a combination of a mixer and a twin screw extruder. The key part of the gear box is smooth, safe and reliable. The torque of each shaft is 600N-M, which is an ideal equipment for producing high-grade plastic products. For example, the filling amount of magnesium hydroxide in the production of low smoke halogen flame retardant cable material can reach 70%, the carbon black masterbatch N330 or N220 carbon black content can be over 55% PE or PP masterbatch of calcium carbonate filling up to more than 85%, because the strength of dispersed uniform particles is much better than the granulation effect of the twin screw extruder.

Why does this three screw extruder have such a powerful plasticizing and dispersing function? This is because three screws, arranged in an equilateral triangle, form a closed space in the center interval, because the screw element is three heads. When the screw is rotated for one week, the area of the center section will change from small to three times at any section of the screw, such as the minimum (see figure 1) rotation of 60 degrees when the area is minimum in the 0 degree time zone. The maximum (see Figure two), then gradually smaller to 120 degrees, back to the minimum, such as the cycle, such as the screw long neck ratio of 30, when the screw speed is 500 / minute, the number of changes per minute is 30 x 3 x 500=45000 times, that is, 45000 pressure pulsation. The open head can see that the material is small spherical (like sugar coated gourd) with a diameter of 15 millimeters.

It is obvious that the twin screw has only one meshing point and the three screw has three meshing points. Only in this case, a three screw extruder is equivalent to three twin-screw extruders. The material is strongly cut at the double circle speed at the meshing point, and the heating material will be quickly plasticized with the heater. The practice has proved that PP is taken as an example. It is completely plasticized at 500 millimeters from the starting point of the thread (equivalent to 8.3D). Then the molten material will flow in the center area and be squeezed out in the center area. So the vacuum vent is not easy to take and can safely evacuate to improve the quality of the product. Each compression ratio has reached 43 times, which is the reason why the secret sharing function is strong. However, the shear effect is basically disappeared, so that the molecular chain of materials will not be cut off. This is very useful for many materials.

If the material stays in the machine for 20 seconds, it will be strongly dispersed for 15000 times. What kind of material components can be dispersed evenly?

There is no compression ratio in the honey refining process of the mixer, and the dense cutting process of the three screw extruder has a strong compression ratio of =43. So the combination of a close packed three screw extruder more than one mixer and a twin screw extruder is proved by practice.

The machine produces 50% carbon black (N330) masterbatch and the output is 250kg/ hours. The output of current 100 ampere is 1.5 times that of the twin screw extruder of the same specification, and the power consumption is 50%.
