The triangular three screw has more advantages in this aspect, and the required ratio of length to diameter is smaller, and the effect of shearing dispersion is better.

The three screw granulator has lower energy consumption. The increase of the output of the three screw is larger than that of the twin-screw, the positive displacement capacity is strong, the length and diameter ratio is short, the length of the screw is only 1/2 of the conventional twin screw. The energy consumption is very significant, the free flow space of the material in the barrel is increased, and the torque of the screw is reduced and the energy consumption is reduced. Moreover, the length and diameter ratio of the three screw is short, the machine is small, the occupancy space is small, and the consumption of water, electricity and other energy is much smaller than that of the general twin screw extruder.
